Miller, who hails from Asheville, N.C., competed in his first season with the South East Limited Late Model Series in 2016. After missing the first event, he placed second during his first-ever race after driving from the back of the field. During his second race, Miller earned his first career pole and he led every lap of the main event to garner his first career victory. Miller closed the season with a runner-up result in the championship standings.
This year Miller is racing the full season for Orion Motorsports in the South East Limited Late Model Series. He will also compete at various tracks in the limited late model division. On June 3, Miller is bringing racing back to his hometown of Asheville, N.C., for one night. It will be Anthony Miller Racing Night at the Asheville Tourist game, held at McCormick field in Asheville. Miller will have his show car simulator and race car there. The first 1,000 guests will receive a No. 56 baseball jersey and Miller will throw out the first pitch that night.
