Inside Line Promotions – ASHEVILLE, N.C. (April 3, 2017) – Anthony Miller is excited to make his first-ever start at Dillon Motor Speedway in Dillon, S.C., this weekend with the South East Limited Late Model Series.

“I think there will be a pretty good car count with us and the locals from that area,” he said. “The competition will be tough racing against the guys that know this track and the guys from our series, but I’m hoping to get a solid finish and get our momentum back.”

Miller and the Orion Motorsports team toughed out a top 10 while facing severe handling issues in the most recent South East Limited Late Model Series race at Greenville-Pickens Speedway a couple of weeks ago.

“We actually had a shock break a couple weekends ago at Greenville-Pickens Speedway,” he said. “It was really a freak incident on how it broke, but it made sense to why our car wouldn’t adapt to changes or handle well at all.”

Miller said the team can’t wait to take what they’ve learned to a new atmosphere at Dillon Motor Speedway.

“It’s difficult going into this weekend and not knowing what to expect,” he said. “I’ve been doing research of watching old videos and in-car cameras, trying to figure out what the best line of the track is and different driving styles. It’s what helps me from the driver standpoint.

“It seems to be a pretty basic, bottom groove track, but it’s got wide corners that look pretty tight and might be more of a high-braking track so we will see how that plays a factor in the race.”

Miller will make the trip to Dillon Motor Speedway on Friday to get additional practice time. The South East Limited Late Model Series will qualify on Saturday with the feature on Sunday.
